National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. We look forward to joining neighborhood gatherings across Washington County in an effort to discuss how we can work together to maintain safer communities. Oak Hills is registered to participate in Washington County's Night Out event. Neighborhood Block Leaders host Block Parties, small get-togethers of immediate neighbors, and can request representatives from the county Sheriff's Office to attend, answer questions, and get to know the residents of Oak Hills. Please contact our Neighborhood Watch Captain, Nancy Robbins, to register your Block Party. More details at oak-hills.net/nno. |
