These masters of Americana music, whether bluegrass, cowboy, folk, blues, roots country, pop and other stops on the Americana trail

In the Larry Wilder Band (aka Stumptown Stars), every member is a lead and harmony singer. The variety never stops.  Expect the finest work on guitar, banjo, harmonica, fiddle, mandolin and bass.

Repertoire includes Kingston Trio, Carter Family, Johnny Cash, Pete Seeger, Sons of the Pioneers, Irving Berlin, Flatt & Scruggs, Bob Wills, Hank Williams, Woody Guthrie, Gordon Lightfoot, Roy Orbison, Bill Monroe, Leadbelly, many other roots sources, plus original compositions. You’ll be singing along!  All ages OK.

About the band...
Larry Wilder—Champion of Americana. Larry has opened for Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett, Bonnie Raitt, Lily Tomlin and Pete Seeger.   Larry has led bands on tours of Japan (1980) and Europe (1998, 2007, 2010).  His 7 string banjo brings unique stylings and even two songs simultaneously!  Also a songwriter, guitarist and Autoharpist, Wilder has released four CD’s and is nationally recognized for his fast-paced Americana shows—solo or with the band.  Larry is 2008 U. S. Yodeling Champion.

Jon Lindahl—bass guitar, vocals, sound tech.  Owner/engineer: Grammy Award winning Fresh Tracks Studio.

Cliff Ashmon—Blues harmonica wizard/vocalist.  A fixture in Northwest music circles for decades, Cliff is a singer/songwriter known for his catchy compositions.

Kian Dye—18 year old former Oregon State and U. S. Twin Fiddling Champion along with Wilhelmina FrankZerda, 16.  Both are fine vocalists along with their soaring fiddle work.

Chris Standridge—from Piney Grove, TN, guitarist/ mandolinist Chris lends his authentic bluegrass, gospel and old-time singing.
