This year we have the honor of hosting a new tradition. Years ago, Tim Tank organized bringing the Turkey Trot to Oak Hills on Thanksgiving morning. His enthusiasm for running and creating this positive community event was inspiring.
On January 1, 2024, Tim passed away, ending his 7 year battle with brain cancer.
We honor his legacy this Thanksgiving by hosting the first annual TIM TANK MEMORIAL TURKEY TROT.

Tim's family has set-up a scholarship fund to be awarded to a student in the Beaverton School District each spring. Each entry into the Turkey Trot will go towards that scholarship program.

The annual Oak Hills Turkey Trot is set for Thanksgiving day. This 5K fun run/walk is a great opportunity to connect with neighbors and friends and to make some room for that second piece of pie. The event will start at 8 a.m. sharp.

While it won’t be a timed event, our friends at Foot Traffic will provide an arch to celebrate! Thank you to Foot Traffic for their support!
