Saturday March, 14th 6-9pm at the Oak Hills Rec Center
Céilí (pronounced "Kaylee") in the Park is a community potluck, so please bring a dish to share and come out and have fun with your neighbors. This is a family event, so please limit any adult beverages to wine and beer only. We look forward to you joining us for a night of music, dance and friends! While the event goes three hours, the band, The Stomptowners, will be performing from 6pm to 8pm. (http://www.reverbnation.com/thestomptowners) Love science? Love kids? Love Oak Hills? Love them all?
Oak Hills Elementary School is having its annual Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) night (AKA Science Fair). On April 2, from 7-9 PM, our young scientists, engineers and mathematicians will be presenting their science research posters, demonstrating their engineering projects and participating in engineering challenges. Volunteers are needed to 1) provide constructive feedback and reviews of science and engineering projects, 2) help with the engineering challenges and provide constructive feedback, 3) help monitor and run interactive science and engineering displays and 4) act as general hosts. Whatever your level of comfort with science and engineering there is a need for you to help. If you would like to volunteer for this proud OH tradition please contact: Brian Nauert [email protected] 503-522-4961 |
