LET'S TALK ABOUT KIDS AND MENTAL HEALTH
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14TH @ 7PM
IN THE GYM
Attention Parents! This session is for you! Whether your child is a toddler or college age, this session if for you!
NAMI Washington County is bringing their team of presenters from their 'Ending the Silence' program to our community. Come learn about what anxiety and depression look like in youth. Come learn about some warning signs and hear from individuals who have lived through and learned to cope with their own mental health issues. Come and ask questions!
A school psych will also be here to help us understand the school's role in assisting youth. She will talk about what she has seen in her many years in education. She will also provide resources and helpful information for us as parents as we navigate this school year. Come and ask questions!
Washington County Sherriff's Department will also provide a representative to share with us the resources they provide when
a student or individual is in crisis. They have a Mental Health Response Team that can provide assistance when needed.
We are excited to be able to have these individuals come to Oak Hills HOA!
The presentation will be in the gym, so all individuals will be masked and spaced apart.
If you do not have a mask, or you forget yours, we will provide one for you.
