Coming Together as a Community:

A discussion group to explore the meaning and history of race and its place in the history of our country.

The last Sunday of each month
2pm - 4pm
(on Zoom)

Oak Hills residents interested in listening to the podcast Seeing White and participating in a discussion group are invited to participate in this year-long program.  We’ll be meeting on the last Sunday of every month from 2:00 – 4:00 in the afternoon to discuss 1-2 episode of Seeing White.   We will begin meeting over Zoom, but may move to the OH community room when possible.

The first meeting will occur on January 31st.  Folks should listen to Episode 1 of Seeing White prior to the first meeting.  You can find the episodes and learn more about Seeing White here.

Jill Long, neighbor and trained DEI facilitator, will create a discussion group structure and kick-off facilitating the first few sessions.   Over the course of the year-long series, other neighbors will be invited to help facilitate the group if interested!

Please join for as many sessions as you can – you do not need to attend each one.  If you miss one, join in next time!

OHHA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, marital status, in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, homeowner engagement, enforcement of its CC&Rs and ARB Guidelines, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members and guests of our community.
