2020 event is CANCELED

2021 now in planning!

Start: NW Oak Hills Drive &
NW 153rd

Finish: NW 153rd at
NW Norwich Street

The second annual Oak Hills Turkey Trot is set for Thanksgiving day. This 5K fun run/walk is a great opportunity to connect with neighbors and friends and to make some room for that second piece of pie. The event will start at 8 a.m. sharp.

While it won’t be a timed event, our friends at Portland Running Co. will provide a clock to track elapsed time. Thank you to Portland Running Co. for their support!

Sunrise Bagels will also be providing bagels before the run AND Tim Tank from from Morgan Stanley's Springwater Group, will be providing lattes and hot chocolate! Much thanks to both!

Thank you to the cross country teams from Sunset and Westview High Schools for providing volunteers for the race. We are grateful for their participation because, without volunteers, events like this could not happen.

RACE DAY INFORMATION

RACE BIB PICK UP + FOOD DONATION DROP OFF
Race bibs pick up and food donation drop off will be at the parking lot at the Recreation Center. Boy Scout Troop #726 from Oak Hills will be collecting the food for a local food bank. Racers are welcome to hang out in the gym and eat a bagel and wake-up with extra coffee from the coffee carts while visiting with neighbors.

REGISTRATION
Race-day registration will open at 6:45 am at the Recreation Center. We encourage participants to avoid the lines and register early online through the links below.

PARKING
Parking is limited and we encourage drivers to park at the parking lots at Oak Hills Elementary and Oak Hills Christian Reformed Church. Please carpool, walk, ride, if possible.

STROLLERS, KIDS BIKES AND SCOOTERS, DOGS
We welcome all these at the race. Stroller riders do not need to be registered. Please be mindful of sharing the road with other runners. We ask that parents make sure kids don’t interfere with runners and walkers and dogs on leashes. We don’t want collisions and tangles!
We ask that all 4-legged friends be on a leash. Please start near the back and pick-up any messes along the way.

Mark your calendar for Thanksgiving morning and we will see you there.
Registration
$5 per person, or $20 for groups of 4/more runners
Plus 2 cans of food per participant, to be dropped off at the Recreation Center parking lot prior to the race start.
