The OHHA community is raising funds to purchase a new rocketship climbing play structure for the playground area next to the newly remodeled Recreation Center. Neighbors and community members may contribute by purchasing a brick for the playground's commemorative wall display or by making a simple cash donation.

There are three options of bricks that may be customized with a personal message and select graphics. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the fundraiser and leave a special mark to honor our historic Oak Hills neighborhood..

GUIDELINES
All text will be upper and lower case, as specified, with a standard size font and style. Greek letters and other symbols not found on a standard keyboard may not be used.

Each line of text will be automatically centered from left to right.

It is important to note that messages engraved on the bricks may not be harmful to the image of the Oak Hills neighborhood, our facilities, and the Homeowners Association. See established guidelines below for inscriptions:

  1. No obscenities or profanities.
  2. No acronyms that could be construed as obscene or profane.
  3. No derogatory messages (explicit or implied) based on race, color, creed, religion, national origin or sexual orientation.
  4. No sexually explicit messages or double entendre.
  5. No derogatory messages regarding the Oak Hills Homeowners Association, City of Beaverton, or Washington County.
  6. No derogatory messages regarding any individual or entity.
  7. No messages detrimental to the project (messages opposing the Oak Hills facilities and structures, commemorative brick installation, Rocketship play structure fundraiser, fees, or any other aspect of the project).
  8. No political messages.
  9. No commercial messages or advertising other than the firm’s name for business/corporate bricks/tiles.
The above are general guidelines and the Oak Hills Homeowners Association Board of Directors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to deny sale of any brick with an inappropriate inscription. Likewise, the Oak Hills Homeowners Association Board of Directors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to refuse to install or remove any brick sold and subsequently found inappropriate. In such a case, the customer’s sole remedy shall be replacement with a suitable brick. All installed bricks become the property of the Oak Hills Homeowners Association. Bricks may be relocated to accommodate structural or landscaping needs but will remain installed at the Oak Hills Recreation Center complex.

EXAMPLES
Please note that these are for REFERENCE ONLY to help with message ideas and visualization. The font styles, sizing, colors, textures, and graphics on the examples are not exact matches to what will actually appear on the final engraved bricks.
